Job Description:
America's Stonehenge is a small museum, so there will be opportunities for a
variety of tasks every day. Regular work will include running the museum and gift shop register,
providing basic information to visitors, and grounds and facilities maintenance. There will also be
opportunities to provide support for historical research, special events, social media, and marketing
if you are interested.
Requirements:
- Have reliable transportation to and from work at 105 Haverhill Rd, Salem, NH.
- Be able to work outdoors.
- Be able to lift at least 30 pounds.
- Be able to use or be willing to learn to use basic landscaping equipment.
- Be able to interact positively with customers.
- Be able to use or learn to use point of sale equipment, including handling cash.
- Previous work experience preferred.
Education:
Open to high school and college students.
Hours and Schedule:
20-25 hours per week, at least one weekend day required. Preferred schedule Tuesday-Saturday.
Scheduled hours will be 4-5 hours per day, between the museum's regular business hours of 9:00 a.m.
and 5:00 p.m., but there may be some opportunities to work during special after-hours events.
Accommodations can be made for students to work fewer hours (i.e. weekends only) until classes are out
for the summer or once classes resume.
Pay:
$15 per hour.
