We are happy to offer discounted admission to scouts, homeschool groups, and summer camps with 20 or more paid admissions. Before visiting,
students are encouraged to watch an 11-minute informational video to give them a brief history of the site,
which can be viewed here.
Chaperones will be given comprehensive tour guide maps to explain the features of the site.
A picnic area is available for lunches. We suggest bringing a bagged lunch as we do not have a cafeteria.
Please plan on 2-3 hours to fit in all activities.
Hands-On Kid's Dig
Our non-sensitive dig pits are available for reserved school groups. Students will dig in a grid and use
our archaeology tools to excavate polished stones. This is an educational and fun hands-on activity.
Students spend approximately 45 minutes in the dig pit. The dig pit is
only available for preschool through grade 7.
Activity Worksheets
We offer printable worksheets to be distributed in class and completed during a tour of the site at
America's Stonehenge. Please visit the learning center for these teaching
accompaniments. If there is something you would like to see that we do not currently offer, please let
us know so that we can incorporate it into our program.
